| The first thing that Jaime Byrd, jewelry designer of Byrd Designs did was create some simple hair accessories for her long hair. She wanted a hair barrette that would hold her hair and still look like a piece of hair jewelry.
One thing lead to another and she soon started making all sorts of hair accessories for stores in Northern California.
Since 1993, she has been creating individual hair accessories to dress up any occassion. So many different hairstyles and updos, so many fun ways to wear Byrd Designs hair accessories.
Eventually, she started making videos to demonstrate how to use her various hair accessories.
