Do I need a resale or state tax ID number to buy wholesale?
Yes. All wholesale accounts need a state resale number which allows Byrd Designs not to charge sales tax on the items you order. (The states of Oregon & New Hampshire is exempt since they do not collect sales tax at anytime). If you do not have your ID number with you at the moment, you may still receive your wholesale code number and place your order with us. You will need to get the tax ID number to us before the order ships to you usually within 1-2 weeks. Feel free to call us if you have further questions on this matter.
Must I use the shopping cart to place an order with Byrd Designs?
No. You may order by either using our secure, easy order shopping cart, or by using our 1 800 794-BYRD number and just calling your order in directly to us. Simply refer to the item numbers you wish to order and wholesale prices will be one half of the price shown. We will be happy to assist you in any way we can to may your shopping experience easy and enjoyable. You may also fax in your order at 828-628-0150.
How do I order with wholesale prices?
Sign in to your account. This will automatically give you the wholesale prices. You no longer need to enter any special code in the shopping cart. Please note that wholesale orders that do not meet our $500 opening order or $200 reorder will not be processed.
When you are ready to check out and complete your order you will need to select a shipping method from the pull down menu. You will also need to select a payment option. NOTE: A credit card payment will assure your order is processed quickly. A prepayment with a check will take longer since we will have to wait for the check to clear before the order can be worked on. If you have established terms with our company, just Choose the payment option "Check or Money order" from the pull down menu and complete your check out process. We will begin working on your order ASAP. You are now ready to "Continue to Checkout (2nd Step)". You will then need to complete the order form with all information in this next page. Select "Continue to Checkout (Final Step)" and go on to fill out credit card information if applicable. Within minutes you will receive, via e-mail, a confirmation that your order was received listing the items you selected.

No. You may order by either using our on-line order form with our easy order shopping cart, or by using our 1 800 794-BYRD number and just calling your order in directly to us. Just refer to the item numbers you wish to order and we will give you the wholesale prices. We will be happy to assist you in any way we can to may your shopping experience easy and enjoyable. How do I know what the wholesale prices are?
The prices shown on the web site are retail prices. Your wholesale prices will be shown once you login to your account. An accurate invoice will be shipped with your merchandise showing the wholesale prices of each item you ordered and what you paid for each item. This will make it easy and convenient for you to price your merchandise accordingly.
I don't have a tax ID number with me right now, can I still receive a wholesale code and place my order today?
Yes. You will need to get the state resale tax ID number to us before we can ship the order out. That is usually within 1-2 weeks after placing the order.
Is there a minimum order to buy wholesale?
Yes. In order to buy at wholesale prices we require a small minimum of only $500.00 in wholesale prices to open a Byrd Designs account. This will allow a store to have a nice variety and will increase the sales of these items because of the selection available. All reorders are only $200.00.
How do I order an item that does not have a shopping cart link?
In many cases you must call these particular items in to our 800 794-2973 line and ask for them to be added to your order. You may also add those items to the comment area in your order form or simple send us an e-mail to add those pieces to your order.
Can I use a personal credit card to purchase wholesale items?
Yes. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
Can I have an order sent COD?
No! You must either prepay with a check, use a credit card or be an established account with terms.
How do I place an on-line order for net 30 once I have terms arranged with Byrd Designs?
You may place your order with our easy on-line shopping cart. When you are ready to check out, from the shopping cart page go to the "Choose payment option" pull down menu and select "Check or money order". When your order is received your company name will be on file here in our system showing that you have arranged terms with us and your order will be shipped out as soon as possible net 30 terms.
How do I arrange net 30 terms with Byrd Designs?
Your first order must be prepaid. You may then mail in or FAX to us a credit reference sheet showing 3 business trade references (please include FAX numbers for each reference), along with your bank, company and contact information. How long does it take to have an order shipped?
In most cases, it takes approximately 1-2 weeks to have an order shipped once it has been received. If it is an unusually large order or if it is during the peak holiday season it may take a little longer to get your order out. Keep in mind, we do our very best to get orders out in a timely matter. Please note that all orders are made to order in our studio in North Carolina.
Can I arrange a later delivery date?
Yes. We will arrange delivery dates throughout the year if you wish. We can schedule deliveries for every few weeks or every few months. Whatever is convenient for you.
What is your return policy?
We offer a lifetime guarantee against damage or breakage on all of our products. This is a great service we offer to the customer and to the retailer buying wholesale from us. We have set it up so a retail customer can contact us directly if something happens to the piece they purchase for repairs or replacements. It is extremely helpful to the retailer since you won't have to deal directly with the customer and pay for shipping costs back to us on any repairs if they occur. PLEASE NOTE: Because we are a small, "made to order" company, it is difficult for us to take back large quantities of an order which was specifically made for your store. Therefore we do suggest if you haven't seen our jewelry and hair accessories, we ask you to purchase samples of our work first to make sure it is what you are expecting. We will send out these samples in 1-3 days and credit your account the difference of the wholesale prices if an order is placed. Please note that orders over $100 are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
