Do I need a resale or state tax ID number to buy wholesale?
Yes. All wholesale accounts need a state resale number which allows Byrd Designs not to charge sales tax on the items you order. (The states of Oregon & New Hampshire is exempt since they do not collect sales tax at anytime). If you do not have your ID number with you at the moment, you may still receive your wholesale code number and place your order with us. You will need to get the tax ID number to us before the order ships to you usually within 1-2 weeks. Feel free to call us if you have further questions on this matter.

No. You may order by either using our secure, easy order shopping cart, or by using our 1 800 794-BYRD number and just calling your order in directly to us. Simply refer to the item numbers you wish to order and wholesale prices will be one half of the price shown. How do I order wholesale with the shopping cart?
Find the items you wish to order and click on a color preference and size if applicable, then click on "add to cart". Then fill in your wholesale code in the "enter coupon or gift certificate number field". This will reflect your 50% wholesale discount. Click here to get your wholesale code.

When you are ready to check out and complete your order you will need to select a shipping method from the pull down menu. You will also need to select a payment option.

NOTE: A credit card payment will assure your order is processed quickly. A prepayment with a check will take longer since we will have to wait for the check to clear before the order can be worked on. If you have established terms with our company, just Chose the payment option "Check or Money order" from the pull down menu and complete your check out process. We will begin working on your order ASAP.

You are now ready to "Continue to Checkout (2nd Step)". You will then need to complete the order form with all information in this next page. Select "Continue to Checkout (Final Step)" and go on to fill out credit card information if applicable. Within minutes you will receive, via e-mail, a confirmation that your order was received listing the items you selected.

The prices shown on the web site are retail prices. Your wholesale prices will be 50% less then the retail prices shown on the web site. The 50% discount will be reflected when you check out at your shopping cart area. An accurate invoice will be shipped with your merchandise showing the actual wholesale prices of each item you ordered and what you paid for each item. This will make it easy and convenient for you to price your merchandise accordingly.

Yes. You will need to get the state resale tax ID number to us before we can ship the order out. That is usually within 1-2 weeks after placing the order.

Is there a minimum order to buy wholesale?
Yes. In order to buy at wholesale prices we require a small minimum of only $200.00 in wholesale prices to open a Byrd Designs account. This will allow a store to have a nice variety and will increase the sales of these items because of the selection available. All reorders are only $100.00.

How do I order an item that does not have a shopping cart link?
In many cases you must call these particular items in to our 800 794-2973 line and ask for them to be added to your order. You may also add those items to the comment area in your order form or simple send us an e-mail to add those pieces to your order.

You may place your order with our easy on-line shopping cart. When you are ready to check out, from the shopping cart page go to the "Choose payment option" pull down menu and select "Check or money order". When your order is received your company name will be on file here in our system showing that you have arranged terms with us and your order will be shipped out as soon as possible net 30 terms.

How do I arrange net 30 terms with Byrd Designs?
Your first order must be prepaid. You may then mail in or FAX to us a credit reference sheet showing 3 business trade references (please include FAX numbers for each reference), along with your bank, company and contact information. How long does it take to have an order shipped?
In most cases, it takes approximately 1-2 weeks to have an order shipped once it has been received. If it is an unusually large order or if it is during the peak holiday season it may take a little longer to get your order out. Keep in mind, we do our very best to get orders out in a timely matter. Please not that all orders are made to order in our studio in North Carolina.

What is your return policy?
We offer a lifetime guarantee against damage or breakage on all of our products. This is a great service we offer to the customer and to the retailer buying wholesale from us. We have set it up so a retail customer can contact us directly if something happens to the piece they purchase for repairs or replacements. It is extremely helpful to the retailer since you won't have to deal directly with the customer and pay for shipping costs back to us on any repairs if they occur.

PLEASE NOTE: Because we are a small, "made to order" company, it is difficult for us to take back large quantities of an order which was specifically made for your store. Therefore we do suggest if you are placing a large wholesale order that you ask to purchase samples of our work first to make sure it is what you are expecting. We will send out these samples in 1-3 days and credit your account the difference of the wholesale prices if an order is placed. Please note that orders over $100 are subject to a 20% restocking fee. I've ordered from you before and I don't remember my wholesale code, what do I do?
If you've already ordered from us you do not need to put in your wholesale code to receive your discount. Just make sure that you order under your store name and when we process the order we will apply your wholesale discount as before. If you like you may also make a note in the comments section of your shopping cart as you check out to remind us that you are a current wholesale customer and you just forgot your wholesale code. Remember that you still must order a minimum of $100 at wholesale prices to receive your discount. If you prefer, you may call us directly at we will give you the code as well.
